Unfortunately the version in my head is the one with Jack White on guitar, and it’s not available on youtube. Just imagine his howlin’, rockin’, choppy blues guitar all over this version.

When I was a teenager, I listened to John Peel to discover new and interesting music. I bought this album (Climate of Hunter) when it came out, and I was just reminded of it yesterday by a friend who had just discovered it. And obviously it’s stuck in my head now. Wonderful.
I love this groove. Ike and Tina get down and dirty.
A new discovery for me. I kept catching snippets on the radio, but didn’t know who it was until Sunday. Now this seasick groove is stuck on repeat in my head. Let it wash you out to sea.
I’m going to see Bobby Womack in concert tonight, and I’ve had my favourite Bobby Womack song in my head since last night.
Bonus Earworm. This song has been in and out my head for about a week. WOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!
Annoyingly, there are no linkable versions of Prince’s original available on YouTube, so you’ll just have to imagine his purpleness.
Bonus earworm later as I forgot to post yesterday.
Singing the (happy) blues.
Ah, how charming. I woke up with these lyrics in my head this morning. A true, unexplained earworm.
