I don’t particularly love this song, but it is a perfect pop ballad, very catchy. And it has taken up residence in my brain.

Last night I went to see Asif Kapadia’s excellent documentary Amy. I left the cinema saddened by the cult of “celebrity culture” and how it can so easily aid self destruction.
