The inimitable Jimmy Scott, from the final episode of Twin Peaks. I have loved this song for 25 years.

Underground Resistance – Eye of the Storm

Domino earworm. I’m currently posting a series of instrumental favourites on Facebook as part of a “challenge”, and chose another UR favourite, Hi Tech Jazz, so as a domino effect this tune popped into my head. I have always loved this tune, with calm at its core, surrounded by chaos, reminding me of the calm joy I feel when dancing, even surrounded by mayhem. I’m one of those people who is literally moved by music, my dancing movements are entirely unplanned and inspired entirely by what my body feels and hears.

björk – It’s Not Up To You

When I’m low, this song cheers me up. When I’m not, it fills me with joy. My favourite dreamy björk song.
