Since watching the Undertones documentary on iPlayer, I’ve had this wee cracker stuck in my head. Poor Kevin. He didn’t really seem to mind though…
“He always beat me at Subbuteo
’cause he flicked the kick
And I didn’t know”
The wind is blowing, the snow is snowing…
I still miss him.
I was wearing a hat yesterday and as a pulled it up into a beret shape I this popped into my head.
A new earworm.
Everybody loves to say goodbye.
I was at a Songhoy Blues gig last night and realised that my love for the music of Mali started with this dance music gem from 30 (count em) years ago. It also reminds me of a dear friend (who is no longer with us) as it was “his” tune on the dance floor.

But when the thunder breaks, it breaks for you and me.
I’m surprised at how infrequently I have a Cocteaus earworm, given how obsessed I was with them in my youth. I think it must be the unintelligible lyrics.
Heard this on the radio a couple of weeks ago, and it’s stuck in my head now. I recall loving the video when it came out. Simple but effective.
