Bauhaus – Bela Lugosi’s Dead

Well, it is hallowe’en after all.  From my favourite and original goth band, Bauhaus. Don your capes, ladies, gentlemen and creatures of the night.

Undead undead undead undead.

Siouxsie and The Banshees – Spellbound

A blast from the past. Whenever I listen to Siouxsie and the Banshees these days I notice the quality of the drumming. Top tub thumping, Mr Budgie.

Sparklehorse – Little Fat Baby

The purest form of earworm. Straight from my brain to you, without hearing it for about a year!

Love – Orange Skies

Once, I was a hippie.

Lee Dorsey – Ya Ya

I have no idea why I haven’t posted this as an earworm before as it’s often in my head. Mhm, uhuh.

Duran Duran – Girls on Film

I had beans on toast for lunch. A friend sings the words “Beans on Toast” to this refrain. And now it’s stuck on repeat.

Beans on Toast. Beans on Toast.

Radiohead – High and Dry

Radiohead, there’s a surprise in my ears. Not the catchiest band, but The Bends was probably the catchiest album, I suppose.

John Grant – Sigourney Weaver

I, too, often feel like Sigourney Weaver.
