Dirtied right up for the new Jim Jarmusch film, Only Lovers Left Alive. Certainly a track for my fantasy nightclub.

This morning’s earworm is the best Smith’s cover. Ever. Bleep.
And if a ten ton truck kills the both of us, tonight by your side, the pleasure and the privilege is mine.
There is a light that never goes out.
Happy Valentine’s Day.
Video and recordings just released from a gig I did backing vocals at last summer. And now I can’t get the song out of my head.
My earworm is the bit that goes “ba do roo, ba do roo, handclap, repeat”.
Look out for the dancing granny in the video.

I woke up with the crazy yodelling bit of this video in my head (it’s not on the album recording as far as I can remember). Anyway, this is one of my favourite Björk songs, what with the mouth trombone, (yodelling), and excellent beatboxing. And the video’s great, you should watch it if you’ve never seen it, Björk’s boyfriend is a cat! Waaaidecka waidecka waidecka, wai!
Stax soulful blues, and a regular earwom of mine.
It’s the Marvelettes. Covered by many, but I love this smoky vocal and soul groove best of all.
I love this catchy wee number from the rock and roll kids, Kitty Daisy and Lewis.
