Last night I went to see Asif Kapadia’s excellent documentary Amy. I left the cinema saddened by the cult of “celebrity culture” and how it can so easily aid self destruction.
This song is rattling round my brain this morning, and it’s so hard to listen to.

Alabama Shakes – Don’t Wanna Fight
I may have been singing along and dancing at the side of the stage to this yesterday. The way Brittany comes into this song is spine tingling.
