I’ve been watching too much American Horror Story… Am intrigued about the original film soundtrack now too.
Also used in Kill Bill and Death Proof.
The soundtrack to my life: 1984.
I was always a fan of many kinds of music. I also liked Prince, The Pointer Sisters, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, The Cramps, (Rufus and) Chaka Khan, Sister Sledge and Grandmaster Flash and Melle Mel.
But this album was on heavy rotation.
I am having a Jeff Buckley phase. This is probably my favourite of his songs, and the catchiest, earwormiest one as fragments often buzz round my head in the small hours.
This woke me up in the middle of the night and I couldn’t get back to sleep.
Big fish, little fish swimming in the water, come back here man, gimme my daughter.
It’s always a treat when Blossom pops into your head unbidden.
It’s got to be Jimmy today. Thank you for the music. I’ve always loved this song.
This has seeped into my bones. A lot of things I don’t like about it, but still.
