Guess it must be Christmas time! Still find this very difficult to play – it’s the opposing rhythms.
For some people it’s Slade, or Wizzard, but for me, the Christmas pop song that’s ingrained on my brain this time of year is this Wall of Sound classic.

Listening to my Discover Weekly playlist on Spotify, which was full of funk and soul (as usual), and this came to mind. Before Automatic, Slow Hand and I’m So Excited, there was this little piece of rhythmic funk.
Reminds me a bit of XTC and Split Enz. Yes I’m showing my age.
